Summer happenings!
I just got some exciting news that I wanted to share with you. Rainbow's End has received the 2010 Book Buyers Best Award in the Romantic Suspense/Mystery with Romantic Elements category. Wow, what an honor for my first book. I'm very exciting. The contest was sponsored by the Orange County, California Chapter of Romance Writers of America. Along with a certificate, I received a beautiful trophy that I'm proudly displaying in my living room. I can't help but admire it from time to time. It might not be an Oscar or an Emmy, but it is something I'm very proud of.
I told you last time that I'll be giving away several e-books in honor of the first anniversary of Rainbow's End's release. I've just given the first e-book away. Speaking of celebrations, Long and Short of It Reviews (LASR) is celebrating it's 3rd anniversary with a month-long scavenger hunt in August.
